Refunds & Returns Policy

his Refunds & Returns Policy applies to all orders placed with Barcode Systems Direct Ltd and should be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions.


1. Business-to-Business Transactions Only

All sales are conducted strictly on a business-to-business (B2B) basis.

We do not sell to consumers or private individuals.
Consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, does not apply.


2. Order Fulfilment Method

All products are supplied on a drop-shipped basis directly from manufacturers or authorised distributors.

As a result, all orders are prepared specifically for each customer once a quotation has been accepted and an order confirmed.


3. Returns Approval

Returns are not automatically accepted.

All return requests must be:

  • Submitted in writing
  • Approved in advance by Barcode Systems Direct Ltd

Unauthorised returns will be refused and returned to the sender.


4. Conditions for Approved Returns

If a return is approved, the following conditions apply:

  • Products must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging
  • Products must be returned in a resaleable condition
  • Products that have been opened, used, installed, or damaged will not be accepted

We reserve the right to inspect returned items before confirming acceptance.


5. Restocking Fee

All approved returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee, calculated on the original order value.

This fee reflects handling, supplier charges, and administrative costs associated with drop-shipped orders.


6. Return Shipping

All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service.
Barcode Systems Direct Ltd accepts no responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.


7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Products that have been opened or used
  • Products returned without prior approval
  • Products damaged after delivery
  • Custom, configured, or special-order items

8. Refund Processing

Where a return is approved and accepted, refunds will be processed after inspection and confirmation.

Refunds will be issued:

  • Minus the 30% restocking fee
  • Via the original payment method where possible

Processing times may vary depending on the supplier and payment provider.


9. Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been confirmed.

As all transactions are B2B, there is no automatic right to cancel.
